Leather giberne case in brown, H 8 cm, width 15.5 cm, depth 4 cm. Silvered metal sides, each adorned with a brass gilt head of Medusa. Rectangular slightly trapezoidal black leather flap, H 7.8 cm, width at top 7.5 cm, width at bottom 17.3 cm, edged with silvered metal trim and decorated in its center with an un-crowned golden brass Imperial eagle grasping in its talons the sparkling lightning bolt of Jupiter, H 6.5 cm, width 6.9 cm. Banner composed of a wide 6 cm wide silver braid with four scarlet silk stripes lined with brown leather and embellished with silvered copper fittings: hollow rectangular buckle in the center adorned with a half palmette at the top and bottom, barrette decorated with a laurel branch, half-palmette shaped plate, oval medallion depicting a head of Medusa and plain shield.
