Silver-plated embossed copper plate depicting the Gallic rooster holding in its talons the terrestrial globe with the inscription "LIBERTY" framed by an oak branch and a laurel branch, all set on a shield with a heavily molded relief center. Height of the plate 13.6 cm, width 11.9 cm.

NOTE:
This model of plate was intended to receive in the center of the shield the insignia identifying the type of regiment (rifleman, hunter, or grenadier).
