OFFICER'S SWORD AND STAFF OFFICER, 1817 model, Restoration period.
Gilt brass hilt. Single-branch guard. Keyboard decorated with the Arms of France, framed by two laurel branches on a background of crossed flags. Folding back keyboard. Cap decorated with a sparkling winged thunderbolt. Handle made of wood covered with copper filigree calf. Double-edged blade, length 86.5 cm.
Leather scabbard, brass chape.

Fair condition, hilt in very good condition with its gilding intact, blade with oxidation, scabbard in poor condition, damaged and incomplete leather, missing scabbard throat fitting, missing drag.
