11 sets in 3 volumes, oblong 4to, spines and corners in long-grain morocco leather, red for the first volume, green for the other two, gilt fillet, cartouches with gilt titles on the covers, gilt edges (modern binding).
Complete collection of Raffet's lithographic albums, containing his masterpieces: Capture of Fort Mulgrave; They grumbled, and still followed him, The Night Review, The Conquest of Holland, etc.
The 1827 album includes a title and 10 plates; the 1828 one, a title and 12 plates; the 1829 album was published in two series under the title: Sketches for the amusement of children; it consists of a title, 20 and 8 plates. The albums from 1830 to 1837 each consist of a title and 12 plates.
Copies mounted on tabs. The title from 1827 and 1 plate from 1836 are shorter; 1 plate from 1828 is mounted; three plates, including The Night Review, are printed on mounted China paper.
