OFFICER'S INFANTRY COLLAR OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, model 1804, First Empire.
Brass collar with golden finish, decorated in the center with a relief-stamped silver motif depicting a crowned imperial eagle holding the shining thunderbolt of Jupiter in its talons, framed by an oak branch and a laurel branch. The motif is attached to the collar using 7 copper fasteners.

Very good condition. Superb example retaining all of its gold finish, with a minor original repair (hole sealed with a rivet).
