Brass hilt with four branches, bearing the serial number "690" and the Klingenthal hallmarks, "B" in a crown of rings of first-class controller J.G. Bick, 1815-1824, probably "D" under a star in a crown of laurel leaves of director J.T. Dubock, November 1823-March 1830. Short-tailed pommel, handle in wood covered with black waxed calf leather, brass wire filigree. Brass ferrule. Straight blade with double hollow grooves, 97.5 cm long with a tip in line with the spine, signed on the back "Manufre Rale de Klingenthal August 1828 SA"; it bears the hallmarks "B" (in italics) in a crown of rings of J.A. Bich, first-class controller 1825-1834, and the "D" under a star in a crown of laurel leaves of director J.T. Dubock, November 1823-March 1830. Natural buffalo tie. Steel scabbard with dual suspender rings.
