Mounting with openwork design, entirely in marcasite-steel, with gilded military and floral trophy decorations. Double-shell guard. Round pommel. Wooden grip entirely filigreed in silver. Silver ferrules. Triangular blade 82.5 cm long, engraved and gilded on its first third with military trophies and floral decoration, all on a blued background. Without scabbard.

Good condition, oxidation from use, grip, ferrules, and blade refurbished in the 19th century for reuse during the Restoration.
NOTE:
The 19th-century blade is mounted in such a way that this sword is intended for a left-handed user.
