Metal parts in white-polished steel. One-piece walnut stock, straight grip without a protuberance, known as "English style", five-sided barrel at the breech transitioning to cylindrical. Held to the stock with a nose cap, sling swivel, and bayonet lug, the magazine, a distinctive feature of the firearm, is positioned under the barrel, with cartridges loaded into it with the bolt open, the rocker arm ensuring the presentation of the ammunition, triangular front sight with adjustable rear sight, range sight graduated to 1200m, a second sliding sight allowing for firing up to 1800m.
All parts of the weapon bear the same serial number "3360."
Breech block marked with the name of the Austrian manufacturer "MANUFACTURE DE Mr DE WERNDL - STEYR AUSTRIA," and model "Mle 1878 MARINE."
