DRUM MAJOR'S BELT PLATE OF THE 42ND INFANTRY REGIMENT, July Monarchy - Second Empire.
Rectangular plate with cut corners, made of gilded bronze, decorated in relief with applied ornaments affixed to the plate, height 7 cm, width 7.7 cm without the curve, 8.5 cm with the curve. In the center, it is decorated with the number "42" cut out and affixed. The plate is bordered by a molding of palmettes. The back is complete with its bracket and hook.
Perfect condition, the plate has retained all of its gilding.
