UNIFORM OF THE 155th INFANTRY REGIMENT BELONGING TO CLAUDE MANLHIOT, Model 1812, First Empire. 32591
Uniform in national blue cloth.
Collar in white cloth cut straight at the lower part, in three points at the higher parts, entirely piped in scarlet, each point is bordered by seven small brass uniform buttons with the number "155" (button diameter 1.5 cm). Width of the collar at the lower part 8 cm, at the higher part approximately 11 cm, height at the center 29 cm, maximum height at the points 34 cm.
The right side of the uniform is adorned with 16 hooks at the collar. The left side is similarly adorned with rings to hold the hooks for closing.
On each sleeve, an angled gold passementerie seniority stripe is sewn (width 2 cm), woven lizard, lined with scalloped scarlet cloth (width 2.8 cm).
Scarlet straight cuffs piped in white (height 8.2 cm), national blue cuff flaps piped in scarlet with three small uniform buttons (height 11.5 cm, width 3.7 cm).
Collar in scarlet cloth piped in national blue, adorned on the right side with four hooks and on the left side with four rings to receive the hooks. Collar height 8.5 cm.
Scarlet piped false back pockets forming three points each adorned with a large model uniform button (button diameter 2.5 cm). Height of the false pockets 22 cm, width at the top 10.5 cm, and at the bottom 4.4 cm.
Tail with white cloth flaps, the four corners at the bottom are decorated with grenades cut out in scarlet cloth and sewn on (grenade height 5.5 cm, width 4.5 cm).
Shoulder strap loops in scarlet cloth lined with national blue cloth (width 1.2 cm).
Uniform lined with ecru canvas and white cloth at the collar and lower part.
Good condition, cloth slightly rubbed and sun-faded under the sleeves, moth holes and missing parts restored.
Medical discharge granted to Claude Manlhiot on July 13, 1814. Handwritten document printed in black and white, height 29.5 cm, width 18 cm.

BIOGRAPHY
Claude Manlhiot was enlisted in the regiment on June 2, 1812, under registration number 1851.
HISTORY
The 155th line infantry regiment was created in 1813 and was dissolved in 1814. It participated in the German campaign and took part in the Battle of Leipzig from October 16 to 19, 1813.
