CARABINIERS PLASTRON, FIRST EMPIRE.
Made of iron, covered with a brass sheet leaving a border of exposed iron on the sides adorned with 34 brass nails. Sharp edge, collar lined with a gutter, armholes edged with a roll, rounded shape at the bottom. It is stamped on the right side "AP" and on the left shoulder the serial number "3015". In very good condition, in the upper part at the level of each shoulder, two rectangular holes have been drilled, either for reuse in 1815 or for wall mounting. The brass sheet shows numerous sword blows and various impacts, suggesting that this cuirass has seen the heat of the battle. France. First Empire.
