COURT SWORD IN GILT DECORATED WITH DIAMOND POINTS, FORMER MONARCHY, reign of Louis XVI, circa 1780.
Gilt hilt with a musketeer design. Guard with a single branch with dog-leg pattern. Oval-shaped pommel. Bivalve guard. Crossguard with small rings. Triangular blade, 86 cm long, engraved with floral motifs on its first third, gilded with a blued background. Scarlet cloth strap. Without scabbard.
Good condition, blade shows usual patina.
