Bronze depicting the Emperor standing, in a frock coat, wearing his famous hat and holding a spyglass in his hands. Base signed "Guillemin" and numbered "A 6806". Presented on a black stone base.
H of the bronze 25.5 cm, total H with base 30.5 cm.

BIOGRAPHY:
Émile-Coriolan Guillemin was born on November 16, 1841, and died in 1907. He was a French sculptor of the Belle Époque period. A student of his father, the artist Émile-Auguste-Marie Guillemin, his work was exhibited at the painting and sculpture salon of the Louvre Museum in Paris between 1870 and 1899.
