Red morocco bandoleer with silver Soubise type galloons, with four red silk stripes, fittings in silvered copper and gilded brass: octagonal silvered copper coat of arms bordered by a prominent molding and a row of decorative beads, featuring a gilded bronze lion's head in the center holding a double golden chain in its mouth above a silver shield with a gilded copper fleur-de-lis in the center, edged with a gilded brass molding decorated with laurel branches. Oval silvered copper buckle adorned with relief feathers, the end of the bandoleer is adorned with a silvered copper shield also decorated with feathers.

Wooden box covered with red leather, silver-plated flap with a smooth gilded brass frame and Arms of France in stamped and gilded brass in the center. Gilded brass side with a Medusa head at the top.

NOTE:
This model of giberne is extremely rare. This is the first specimen we have had the opportunity to come across. The box is very similar to the box of the King's Horse Guards, but the edges of the flap are more curved, the framing strip is smooth instead of ribbed, and the central motif with the Arms of France differs slightly: the King's Horse Guards only have two flags in the background of the Arms of France.
