Eagle head facing right in finely chiseled gilded bronze with outspread wings, with the right paw resting on the sparkling lightning bolt of Jupiter. Height 17.4 cm, width 19 cm, depth 4.9 cm.
This eagle rests on a rectangular case bearing on the front the cipher of Napoleon "N" (height of the "N" 2.4 cm x 1.9 cm). At the top, this case is completed by a wider apron and at the bottom by a small protruding molding. Case stamped "M.A. MARION / A. BARRE". Total height 4.8 cm, height of the upper apron 1.3 cm, height of the bottom molding 0.15 cm, width of the case at its center 9.6 cm, width of the upper apron 11.15 cm, width of the bottom protruding molding 9.85 cm, depth of the case 4.3 cm, depth of the upper apron 5.65 cm, depth of the bottom molding 4.7 cm.
Round-shaped socket with a protruding molding at the bottom and, welded at the front and back, a hook for attaching the tie. Height 9.5 cm, Ø 3 cm, height of the bottom protruding molding 3 mm, height of the hooks 4.2 cm.

Very good state of preservation, some small dents on one edge of the case, some oxidation spots (very limited) on the eagle, superb gilding, matte in the backgrounds, polished with agate stone on the protruding parts. This gilding has been simply cleaned and is entirely original.
