Black varnished leather cartridge box sling (width 5.9 cm) with gilt and chiseled brass fittings: on one side, an oval medallion (H 5.1 cm, width 4 cm) with molded and chiseled framing, featuring a finely chiseled relief decoration of a lion's head at the center; a ring held in the lion's mouth to which three link chains ending with pins are attached. Shield (H 7.1 cm, width 5.8 cm) edged with a molded framing strip with an imperial eagle crowned in the center holding Jupiter's thunderbolt in its claws, all finely chiseled and cast. On the other side, an oval-shaped hook (H 7.8 cm, width 6.4 cm) decorated with chiseled feathers in relief, a bar (H 1 cm, width 6.1 cm), and a shield-shaped trim (H 3 cm, width 6.3 cm) finishing the sling and adorned with chiseled feathers. The sling is finished on each side with a brass hook riveted with a swiveling ring.
Cartridge box case made of black sharkskin-covered wood with gilded brass sides (H 8 cm, width 15.5 cm, thickness 2.8 cm). Black varnished leather tab (H 9.6 cm, width at the bottom 16.5 cm, width at the top 15 cm) with double added gilt brass framing strips: outer strip fully guilloched (width 5 mm), inner strip smooth and stone polished with agate (width 4 mm). In the center, an imperial eagle crowned holding Jupiter's thunderbolt in gilt and embossed brass (H 6.1 cm, width 6.4 cm).

Very good condition, leather of the sling partially split in two places and restored with a piece of leather glued on the inside.
