"BOULE" CAVALRY LANCE FOR THE CAVALRY REGIMENTS OF CHEVAU-LÉGERS LANCIERS DE LA LIGNE, DUTCH LANCIERS AND POLISH LANCIERS OF THE IMPERIAL GUARD, 1807 model, First Empire.
Flat steel blade of diamond-shaped section with full faces, 25.10 cm in length, 3 cm at the base, and 1.5 cm thick. Indecipherable stamp except for an "M", stamp of the first-class controller J.J. Mouton who served from 1798 to 1809. Collar of 3.3 cm separating the blade from the ball. Ball of 1.5 cm in height and 3 cm in diameter. Ferrule of 8.2 cm in length. Two iron splints welded to the ferrule measuring 97.5 cm in length, embedded in the shaft and flush with it by means of 6 screws on one side and 5 screws on the other. Three threaded holes allow for the attachment of the flame. Base made of a small iron cone 9.35 mm in length, protecting the lower end of the lance.
Total length of the lance 2.51 m.
